MINISTRIES
At Whitewater Community Church, we design our ministries around the gifts of our leaders, rather than confining our leaders to certain ministries. Therefore, the ministries we offer are constantly changing. Nonetheless, here is a very brief view of some of our current ministries.
Sunday School (all ages)
Sunday mornings starting at 9am we have Sunday School Classes for all ages! For a list of our classes and locations please find the handout or welcome pack in our foyer. Any of our greeters will be happy to show you as well.

Children meet in multiple age groups from ages 2 on up.

Junior High and Senior High groups meet upstairs in their respective rooms.

Adults have several groups that meet in rooms right off of the main sanctuary.
AWANA
AWANA is a youth ministry whose goal is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel and disciple them to be resilient, life-long followers of Jesus. We desire that each child should come to know, love, and serve God with all their heart, and understand that they are loved and created for a special purpose, put in place by God before they were even born.

During the school year each Wednesday, your child (K-6th grade) will participate in high-energy games, worship through singing, hear a Bible lesson, and learn a Bible verse. They will hear about God's love, grace, and truth, and how it can impact their lives now and in the future.

Wednesdays, September 7 to April 26 from 6:15pm - 8:00pm

Junior High - CrossTrainers
Our Junior High ministry is for 7th-8th graders and meets during the school year on Wednesday nights from 6:40-8:15pm. At 6:00pm we serve a meal for our students. The students and leaders spend the evening in worship, prayer, studying the Bible, engaging in fellowship, and memorizing a passage of the Bible together as a group. Each month they do a service project within the community.
Senior High - Heirborne
Our Senior High ministry has their own room called the loft at the new building. They meet during the school year on Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:15pm and are led by a group of sponsors. At 6:00pm we serve a meal for our students. Every year heirborne participates in a missions trip, serving opportunities, music production, senior banquets, and more!
Women's Ministry

Our women's ministry has several opportunities for women to fellowship and dig into God's Word together. The Ladies Bible Study meets Tuesday mornings at 9:30am during the spring and fall semesters. Child care is provided. For information about other Women's ministries, please contact our church office.

We are also offering a Mom's Bible Study during AWANA for mom's who have children in AWANA but are not assisting AWANA. It will begin shortly after 6:15pm and end just before 8:00pm so mom's can drop off and pick up their kid(s).
​
We also have a Women's Prayer Team that meets on Monday mornings at 9am to pray.
​
Our community has Mom's In Touch that meets at Centre Point Church on Main Street in Whitewater to pray for the children and youth and their families.
